Sliding Doors (Howitt, 1998)

Context: Slowing down the subject or slow motion on the other hand has a number of serious applications. It can be used for analysing movement in sport, for instance. In any situation where a rapidly moving subject is to be studied in detail, slow motion, using say 45 or 64 fps filming speed, could be helpful. The disappearing trick could be used humorously or perhaps in titles. Reverse action is a comedy effect.
