The Untouchables (De Palma, 1987)

Context: In addition to the Madonna repositioning, the real water reflections included in the live-action plate were isolated and rear-projected under the dock, giving the landlocked set piece the effect of having an extension over the water. A slow motion control move-in was the final touch, accenting the waterfront tête-à-tête.
