er en postliste på Det islandske kundskabsnet ISMENNT i Reykjavík. Diskussionsemnet på
denne liste er oversættelse og tolkning mellem nordiske sprog, altså dansk, norsk,
svensk og måske finsk, færrøsk, grønlandsk, islandsk og engelsk, når det
kniber?".

ISMENNT in ReykjavÌk.
The issue of the list is translation and interpreting between Nordic languages, thus
Danish, Norwegian, Swedish with pieces of Finnish, Faeroese, Greenlandic, Icelandic and
English when in trouble?
The name of the list is derived from Nordic and the Icelandic word for an
authorized translator skjalaþýðandi where the meaning of 'skjala' is 'document'.
